All About Mrs. Reep!

Hello!  My name is Jill Reep.  I would like to share a little bit about myself.  I was born in Dallas to Joe and Gayle Bailey and lived in Grand Prairie until I was almost five years old.  Then, my dad got a job at Baylor so our family moved to Woodway (a suburb of Waco).  I went to Midway ISD from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I decided to attend Texas Tech (instead of Baylor--much to everyone's surprise).  I graduated in December '93 with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education.  While at Tech, I met my husband, Cody Reep, who graduated from Ropes in '89 and Tech in '94.  He and I got married in July of '94. We have two beautiful children, a daughter Riley who is 8 years old and a son Randen who is 5.  I have an older sister, Kim, who teaches 1st grade.  She is married to Brent.  I also have an older brother Lance, who is married to Pam. They have 2 precious children (my only niece and nephew).  I also have another sister-in-law, Shelley, who graduated from Ropes in '85.  

My hobbies include shopping, scrapbooking, decorating my home, and reading.  I love spending time with my family and friends, going to church, watching Ropes Eagles sports and Texas Tech football games along with Lady Raider basketball games.  I also enjoy watching movies,  drinking Dr. Pepper, and eating Mexican food.  This is my 15th year of teaching.  I previously taught 2nd grade in Slaton for three years before coming to Ropes where I taught 1st grade for 10 years.  Last year, I moved up to 2nd grade.  I really enjoyed teaching math and science.  I look forward to another exciting year!!!
