1st Grade School Supply List

2008-2009

LABEL THESE SUPPLIES:

24  #2 lead pencils                                                                  

2 large boxes of Kleenex tissue

8 glue sticks

1 large bottle of Elmer’s school glue (7.625 ounces)– NO GEL please

2 boxes of Crayola brand crayons (24 count only—nothing bigger please)

1 set of watercolors with brush  

2 EXPO dry erase markers (black)

1 package of pencil top erasers

1 small school box (approximately 5”x8” size)

2 large erasers

1 pair of Fiskars brand sharp pointed scissors

2 - 8 oz. bottles of squirt gel hand sanitizer (Purell, Germ-X, etc.)

3 two-pocket PLASTIC folders: 1 red, 1 blue, 1 color/design of choice

2 two-pocket PLASTIC folders with HOLES: both can be color/design of your choice

1 one-inch (1”) green poly-binder for the Ropes notebook (floppy cover—not hard cover)

Please write your child’s initials with a permanent marker on every piece of school supplies including each crayon, pencil, eraser, etc. Please make sure the actual supply is labeled and not just the outside package.

Please do not send any pencil grips or sharpeners to school.  These will be sent home.
