All About 

Mrs. Colburn

I attended South Plains Jr. College for two years and then attended Texas Tech University.  I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education and received my teaching certificate from Angelo State University.  

I am married to Kevin Colburn and we have 3 children.  Our daughter Kiley is 17, our son Benjamin is 15 and our son Jackson is 9.  We have lived in Ropesville for the past 9 years. 

Our children are involved in many extra curricular activities and keep us very busy during the school year.  

I chose the teaching profession because, as a child, I was blessed with some amazing teachers.  They showed me how learning could take you anywhere you wanted to go in life.  These few teachers have made me the teacher I am today.  I thank them for showing me the light and allowing me to share in the learning of others. 

The things I adore most in life are my family.  I enjoy spending spare time with family and friends.  I enjoy water and snow skiing, swimming and just this summer I learned how I love traveling.

I have been blessed to have some wonderful friends in my life and I cherish the time we can spend together.
